Stanbic IBTC Bank has concluded plans to upgrade its core banking platform to enhance its information technology (IT) infrastructure and operational efficiency. The upgraded core banking system will go live on May 16, 2016. In preparation for the switch over, during the weekend of May 14-15, 2016, all Stanbic IBTC Bank channels will be unavailable for transactions.
In an effort to focus renewed attention on the iron and steel industry and encourage fresh investments, Stanbic IBTC Bank has organized a business session on the industry. The session had in attendance the Minister for Solid Minerals Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi, who delivered the keynote address.
Stanbic IBTC Bank branches will close to customers by 2.00 pm (GMT+1) on Friday 13 May and resume at 8.00 am (GMT+1) on Monday 16 May, 2016. You will be able to transact using our electronic channels including ATMs, Internet Banking, Mobile App and Mobile Money services until 11.59 pm (GMT+1) on Friday, 13 May, 2016. From midnight on Saturday 14 May, 2016 till noon 12.00pm on Sunday 15 May, 2016, you will not be able carry out transactions on all Stanbic IBTC channels.
